Celebrate 18 Years of the Downtown Community Job Center

For 18 years the Downtown Community Job Center has been a source of work, education, leadership development, and refuge. We want to celebrate that history and make sure we keep making history.

Even though the City of LA approved funding for day labor centers for the current fiscal year, the Downtown Community Job Center needs to raise $8000 to keep it's current location. Development in Downtown has driven up the cost of rent. The worker center has had to move three times in the last four years. We don't want to move again. We want to have a stable location that workers can depend on to find work and training.

Can you donate to help make sure we can pay our rent?
